In the provided figure, there are two types of extension cables: a 12-pin green cable and an 8-pin red cable. These cables connect the original car OBD harness and the SGW box, respectively.
 
The first image depicts the original car circuit state, where the plug has no impact on the original car circuit and allows normal access to diagnostic scanners. By disconnecting the extension cable (as shown in figure 2), you can connect the red 12+8 diagnostic line from this set through the extension cable. This enables the use of diagnostic devices such as Multiecuscan, X431, Autel scanners, along with their corresponding diagnostic heads.
 
Installation diagram:
1. The SGW gateway is located beneath the steering wheel in the driver's seat. To access it, you need to remove the guard above the throttle brake.
